The Rev. Dr. Royeese Stowe is the senior pastor of Chamblee First United Methodist Church in Chamblee, GA, part of the Atlanta Metro area.
After earning an associate degree in nursing at DeKalb College, she received a bachelor's degree from New York University. She worked as a nurse for many years before transitioning into traditional ministry. She earned an M.Div. degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University, and a D.Min. from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago.
Royeese is the mother of two grown sons and has 11 grandchildren.
