The Rev. Dr. Rick Dietrich is pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Staunton, VA. He was host of the Day1 radio program 2000-2005.
Rick Dietrich came to First Presbyterian Church as its twentieth Minister in February 2005 after thirteen years as director of the Lay Institute of Faith and Life at Columbia Theological Seminary and five years as host of the Protestant Hour/Day 1 radio program.
A lifelong student, Rick has degrees from Carleton College, Tulane University, Union Theological Seminary in Virginia, and Georgia State University. He has also studied at the Evangelical-Reformed Seminary of the University of Bern, Switzerland and at the University of Florida.
Rick grew up in Blacksburg, VA and in Blacksburg Presbyterian Church. He is married to Robin since 1969. They have two grown sons.
