The Rev. Dr. Casey Baggott is an ordained United Church of Christ minister. She joined the staff of the Community Church of Vero Beach, Florida in 2004 and currently serves as Executive Minister.
Prior to accepting this call to Community Church, she served churches in Minneapolis, as well as serving as a bioethics and spiritual ministries consultant for a national health care firm.
She received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Minnesota, her Masters of Divinity degree from United Seminary of the Twin Cities, and her Doctor of Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation, in South Bend, Indiana.
According to one online dictionary, responsibility is defined as "a duty or obligation to satisfactorily perform or complete a task (assigned by someone, or created by one's own promise or circumstances) that one must fulfill, and which has a consequent penalty for failure."[i]
Read full transcript...We have very limited parking available around our church which poses some special challenges for us, especially on top attendance Sundays, like Easter. We've developed a diligent and committed parking team to help with the problem, and one Easter a few years ago the parking volunteers were out in full force, wearing orange vests and carrying walkie-talkies, trying to make the process of parking seamless. The major challenge for our parking team was going to be helping cars exchange spots between services.
