Bishop Rob Wright: Move!

God is faithful, so we respond in faith. God plays the tune, we choose to dance. Jesus said that with faith you can move a tree.

 

Faith is not only how we move; faith is how we move things. What have you moved by faith? Faith moved Sarah to a new city. Faith moved David to confront his giant. Faith moved Noah to build a yacht in the desert. Faith should move money from our accounts to those of others.

 

Faith is how we practice and proclaim that God is ultimate. God being ultimate, then everything else is subordinate! Everything. Everything can be moved by faith. Some use faith only as a private lucky rabbit's food. That's too bad; faith is so much more!

 

Exercise your faith. Try to move something: an institution, a family, a heart. Do this and truly learn to pray: Lord, increase my faith.

 

¡Muévete, cambia!

Dios es fiel, por ello respondemos con fe. Dios toca la melodía, nosotros elegimos bailar. Jesús dijo: Con la fe puedes mover un árbol.

 

La fe no es sólo la forma en que actuamos, la fe es la manera en que cambiamos las cosas. ¿Qué has cambiado con la fe? La fe impulsó a Sara a ir a una nueva ciudad. La fe impulsó a David a enfrentarse a un gigante. La fe impulsó a Noé a construir un yate en el desierto. La fe debe llevar el dinero de nuestras cuentas a las de los demás.

La fe trata de cómo practicamos y proclamamos que Dios es supremo. ¡Si Dios es lo definitivo, todo lo demás está subordinado! Todo. Todo puede ser transformado con la fe. Algunos viven la fe sólo como comida de un conejo privado. ¡Eso es horroroso! La fe es mucho más.

Ejercita tu fe. Trata de cambiar algo: una institución, una familia, un corazón. Haz esto y realmente aprende a orar: Señor, aumenta mi fe.
