The Rev. William Creevey

The Rev. William H. Creevey is pastor emeritus of First Presbyterian Church in Portland, OR. Before retiring in 1997, he served four city churches in three Pacifc states: Woodland Park Presbyterian Church in Seattle, WA; Westminster in Sacramento, CA; St. Peter's by the Sea in Palos Verdes, CA; and First Presbyterian in Portland, OR.

In his retirement he has served as Interim Chaplain and Visiting Professor of Ministry at San Francisco Theological Seminary, followed by continuing work on the PC(USA) Committee on Theological Education. Until 2007 he was facilitator of the Theological Education Funding Network for the five western synods. 

He studied at Whitworth College, Spokane, WA; Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, NJ; New College, Edinburgh, Scotland; and the Graduate School for Ecumenical Studies in Switzerland.
