Before assuming the role in fall 2022, he serve as pastor of Northwest Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, GA, for 14 years. He came to Northwest in 2008 after serving as pastor of Madison (GA) Presbyterian Church. Before that he served churches in Cartersville, GA, and Perry, OK.
He is a graduate of Whitworth College in Spokane, WA, and earned a master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary.
He is married to Heather and they are the parents of two children.
