The Rev. Dr. Mike Graves

The Rev. Dr. Mike Graves is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) whose primary ministry has been teaching in seminaries.

He is the William K. McElvaney Professor of Preaching, and Director of Continuing Education, at Saint Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, Missouri.

A regional minister of preaching in Greater Kansas City, he has served a number of churches as interim minister, and earlier was pastor of churches in Missouri and Texas.

Mike earned master of divinity and Ph.D. degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He's the author of numerous articles, and has published several books on preaching, including What's the Matter with Preaching?
