The Rev. Pendleton Peery is pastor and head of staff of First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC.

He served as pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Shreveport, Louisiana, from 2008-2012. Before that he was associate pastor of Second Presbyterian Church in Richmond, Virginia.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and following a year of service with AmeriCorps, he attended Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur GA, earning his master of divinity degree. He's currently working on a doctor of ministry degree at Columbia, and also serves on the seminary's board of trustees.
