Brandon Harris is a Masters of Divinity student pursuing certificates in Black Church Studies and Religious Education at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. At Candler, Brandon is a Robert W. Woodruff Fellow in Theology and Ministry.
Originally from Rochester, New York he attended The Lincoln University of Pennsylvania where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Summa Cum Laude) in Political Science and Religion.
Brandon is a Licensed Minister in the Church of God and Christ and is a member of the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. His research interests involve the historical development of African American middle class churches and racial identity development in African American Churches.
In his spare time he enjoys exploring cities, farmers markets, cooking and reading.
