The Rev. Dr. Beth LaRocca-Pitts is the senior pastor of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, where she has served since 2010.

Beth has been a member of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church since 1983. She earned her bachelors in religion at Duke University, and her Master of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. And she completed a Ph.D. in near eastern languages and civilizations from Harvard University.

Beth also taught Old Testament Studies at Duke Divinity school before coming back to Georgia and pastoral ministry.
