He holds degrees from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, and Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. After earning his master of divinity at Columbia, he worked as a consultant for the Cousins Family Foundation in Atlanta, assisting with the Cousins Fellowship Program for seminaries.
