A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, the Rev. Chrissy Tatum Williamson received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Sociology from Furman University, her Master of Divinity degree from Wake Forest University School of Divinity, and her Master of Arts degree in Theology and Ethics from Union Theological Seminary in New York City.
She has served as Associate Director of Young Adult Ministries and Interim Worship Director at The Riverside Church in the City of New York, and as Youth Minister, Minister of Faith Formation, and Associate Minister at Myers Park Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In November of 2018, Chrissy was called as the first female Senior Pastor of Greystone Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Chrissy is married to Justin, who is a hospice chaplain; mother to first-grader, Mia; and pet-mom to her Doberman pup named Penny. She enjoys running, yoga, sewing, baking bread, and entry-level gardening in her spare time.
