The Rev. Jamar A. Boyd II serves The Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference, based in Chicago, IL, as Executive Leadership Fellow with the title of Senior Manager for Organizational Impact.

Jamar is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and earned his M.Div. from The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, where he serves as the Graduate Fellow with “THE GIFT of Black Theological Education and Black Church Collaborative.”

Jamar is also a member of the Social Justice Ministry of the Church of God In Christ, and is the former Justice Reform Organizer at the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy.

He earlier served in pastoral roles at churches in Richmond and Portsmouth, VA, and Newnan, GA.
