The Rev. Rebekah Close LeMon is the senior pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia, where she leads a vibrant, engaged congregation rooted in worship, formation, and public faith. She was called to Trinity Presbyterian in May 2022, following more than a decade of ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, where she served as director of church growth and later as executive pastor.

A native of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Rev. LeMon earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, and later earned a Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law. Before returning fully to parish ministry, she practiced law for four years, an experience that continues to shape her preaching, leadership, and approach to systems-level change.

Rev. LeMon’s ministry is marked by a deep commitment to justice, humility, and faithful engagement in public life. She has served on the board of Presbyterians for a Better Georgia, where she has helped equip people of faith to engage in nonpartisan advocacy around issues such as housing, healthcare, and the common good. Her work bridges pastoral care, theological reflection, and civic responsibility, emphasizing discernment, collaboration, and faithfulness over partisanship.
