Rev. Robert R. “Robb” Webb

Robert R. “Robb” Webb III serves as the Director of the Rural Church Division at The Duke Endowment, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, Robb guides grantmaking and strategic initiatives that strengthen rural United Methodist congregations across North Carolina. His work supports faith-based community development, leadership cultivation, and partnerships that uplift rural churches as vital anchor institutions.

A native of Charlotte, Robb is a graduate of Davidson College and earned his Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School. Before joining The Duke Endowment in 2006, he worked as a management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Healthcare Resource Associates, bringing valuable insights into systems thinking and organizational leadership.

Robb chairs the Rural Life Committee of the North Carolina Council of Churches and serves as vice chair of the Western North Carolina Conference Council on Campus Ministry, demonstrating his commitment to both ecumenical collaboration and the formation of future Christian leaders.
