Welcome to the New Day1.org!

Welcome to the New Day1.org!

All the resources you need to inspire and encourage you in your daily life and ministry--with more to come.

Welcome to our new website! We hope you’ll find its clean new design to be easy to use on any platform from desktop to laptop, from tablet to smartphone. This major advancement comes at the brink of our 75th anniversary of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ through the media.

Here you'll find all the content you love from our previous site, including:

Weekly Program: Day1 and Protestant Hour sermon transcripts from 1996 forward, the vast majority being lectionary-based
Day1 program audio files from 2005 on
Video features including our Day1 TV segments, interviews, and special events
Audio features including in-depth interviews and special programs
Articles by leading pastors, authors, professors, and other leaders
The John R. Gunn "Facing Life" Archives, including the classic "Be Still and Know" radio devotional archives
And the return of the custom site search function!

PLUS in coming days you'll find an ever-increasing archive of sermon audio files by the late Rev. Dr. William L. Self, a giant of the church and former senior pastor of Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, and Johns Creek Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA. Influential in the creation of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Bill was one of the most popular Day1 preachers in recent times and served as the chair of our board before he passed away. For more about Bill, please see his bio page.

What's more, we're working on bringing you classic Protestant Hour programs from our digital archives, from the mid-1940s on. The Protestant Hour was the premier preaching program on the radio for decades, serving as the pulpit for the mainline churches and presenting some of the most significant preachers of the time. The Protestant Hour was renamed Day1 in 2002.

And we have even more to come in the days ahead, including a new podcast or two. So if you haven't already, please sign up for our weekly email newsletter to keep up to date. The best is yet to come!

We hope you will enjoy exploring the new Day1.org website, and let us know if you encounter any problems or issues via our Contact Page.

Thank you! May you be blessed in your walk with Jesus every day.
