The Rev. Canon David Lovelace has been rector since 1996 of the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist in York, Pennsylvania.
Earlier David served parishes in Rocky Mount and Belhaven, North Carolina, and for 14 years was rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newnan, Georgia.
David earned degrees from Ferrum Junior College and Emory and Henry College, as well as a master of sacred theology degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA, and a master of divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria.
