The Rev. Winnie Varghese is rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta, GA.

Before becoming the 23rd rector of St. Luke’s in 2021, she served as Priest for Ministry and Program Coordinator at Trinity Church Wall Street in New York City. Prior to that she was rector and priest-in-charge at St. Mark’s in the Bowery in New York, and also a campus chaplain.

A published author, editor, and podcaster, Winnie attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA, and earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She then attended Union Theological Seminary in New York, graduating with her M.Div.
