Before coming to Opelika in 2017 she was senior pastor of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church in Mobile, AL, for 7 years.

She came to Mobile as co-pastor with her husband, the Rev. Dr. Jeff Wilson, and became sole senior pastor in 2016 when Jeff was appointed as a district superintendent. Before that Robin was director of ministerial services in the Alabama West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. She earlier served churches in Montgomery and Union Springs, Alabama.

Robin is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and earned her master of divinity from Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC.
